NEW CHAMPIONS HOSPITAL WIN LEAGUE IN STYLE!

The final week of league fixtures saw HOSPITAL hand out a whitewash to potential champions Norcross (who finished in third place), while DISTRICT REGISTRY won a close match 4 - 3 at home to Taxes to finish a creditable second. LAYTON WORDYCOMS' 6 - 1 win at North Fylde saw them creep into fourth place in front of former long-time leaders Taxes, who finished fifth. (Actually, as Customs still have a rearranged match to play, they can snatch fifth position (on number of matches won) if they can beat Hesketh 7 - 0. However, Hesketh can avoid the wooden spoon if they get four points - so both teams still have something to play for!) Two of this season's struggling teams - SOCIAL SECURITY and CLAREMONT - both finished with 6 - 1 home wins against Customs and Hesketh House respectively. So there we have it - a close finish with congratulations due to all who made this season one to remember, but particularly to new champions HOSPITAL. Well done guys! But let's not forget it isn't over yet - there are the Team Knockout and individual competitions to finish, too. And who has won the Secretary's Shield?
